Fred Petit

Fred leads Investec’s renewable energy platform in North America. He joined Investec’s Power & Infrastructure Finance team in 2019  as a senior banker with a focus on originating, structuring and executing project financings in the energy and infrastructure sectors and brings over 15 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining Investec, Fred was a Director within Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank’s Energy & Infrastructure Group, where he originated and executed structured finance transactions ranging from $120 million to $12 billion in the North American conventional power, renewables, oil & gas, and petrochemical sectors. Fred started his banking career in Crédit Agricole's Counterparty Risk Analysis department where he was in charge of performing in-depth credit analyses of U.S and Latin American corporates as well as structured finance transactions.
